The National Sailing Academy (NSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives in Antigua by introducing sailing as a sport, leisure activity, and career pathway. Founded in 2010 by Elizabeth Jordan, the NSA has become a cornerstone of the local community, offering free sailing and swimming lessons to schoolchildren and specialized programs for differently-abled individuals. Operating from its headquarters within the Falmouth Ocean Club property, the Academy serves over 150 individuals weekly, fostering skills and confidence on the water.

The NSA’s mission is to change lives by introducing children, differently-abled individuals, and adults in Antigua to sailing—not just as a sport or leisure activity, but also as a career. Through free lessons integrated into the national curriculum and additional paid programs, the Academy provides opportunities for personal growth and professional development in the maritime industry.
